How we #ChooseToChallenge gender equality this IWD

Our mission has always been to empower women to #WalkFearlessly. This International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8 2021, we accept the gauntlet thrown down to challenge equality for women in business, STEM, leadership roles and… well in life to be honest!

#ChooseToChallenge is all about choosing to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and celebrate women's achievements. Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.

How are we doing this?

As a women-led business we’re always looking for ways to empower our wonderful community (you). Whether it be with inspiration to try something new, upskilling to become even more badass at what you do or gaining access to new communities of like minded people.

We’ve curated some of the best Australian memberships, communities and entrepreneur programs built entirely for women to propel us onward in the name of equality and empowerment.

BUSINESS BOOSTING PROGRAMS

MAMAMIA LADY STARTUP PROGRAM - Did you know that the MamaMia “Lady Startup” podcast is back? Better still, they’ve recently launched a startup activation plan to help you go from zero to launching your own business. It’s tangible and teachable. Check it out here.

PROPELLER ADVISORY “PROPEL HER” - With the goal to empower women in all aspects of finance: goal-setting, saving, investing, business setup, growth, and retirement planning, the Propel Her program and Bitches Who Board program are excellent for setting action plans and joining a boss business community. Check it out here.

MICHELLE REDFERN “ADVANCING WOMEN” - Working with leaders and across organisations to advise and guide them to be intentional and systematic about diversity, equity and inclusion. The Advancing Women Formula is a tried and tested leadership program that enables women from all walks of life and all career stages to advance into leadership. Find out more.

WOMEN’S AGENDA “EXTRA” - We’re big fans of the Women’s Agenda hub sharing the latest news and views affecting how women live and work. Did you know they’ve launched the new membership platform “extra” with career resources including ‘mini keynote’ videos, eBooks, ‘reader chats’ and more here.

HER BUSINESS - a collaborative and supportive network for women entrepreneurs who are ready to grow and scale their business. Their memberships are extremely exclusive and will only be open for 3 days from March 15. Request an invite here.

But where can I get that amazing sweatshirt in the picture” - we hear you ask! Stay tuned, these incredible 100% Australian made cotton sweats are coming to the She Lion store very soon.
